If I had become a trial – Why not let me down, Not even gently but Hard – The cuts your barbs made However superficial to you Are mortal. I was too blind to See your change, Like a chrysalis I am discarded And now you fly. Use me as your wind – My very being aches But let me carry you. Hate me and torture me, Laugh at my tragedy But let me down, Kindly Callously There is no distinction. Without you I am a void. Hurt me – If I feel pain I know I exist.

Love, heartbreak, the usual. This one was written in a state of complete despondency, but was quite cathartic. Comments and constructive criticism very welcome...
