Brynevan (You could hold me)

by L.0. T. - Cancer

I look at your body, Bynevan.
Like you are a theatre show.
Holding your hand,
And never wanting to let go.
I keep thinking you'll wake up
And show them all it was just in fun.
But, Brynevan, they say your gone forever,
And that nothing can be done.

I just want to hear you laugh
and see you smile.
I just want you to talk to me
Even if for just awhile.
And you could hold me this time, Brynevan.
And you could hold me.

Do you know how hard it is to say goodbye
And not even get to say.
The three words you kept putting off
To say another day?
You promised me forever,
How could forever come so soon?
I was gonna say what i felt,
But I never got to.

I just want to hear you laugh
and see you smile.
I just want you to talk to me
Even if for just awhile.
And you could hold me this time, Brynevan.
And you could hold me.

Brynevan, your gone now.
So Ill leave this note by your side.
I loved you Brynevan,
From the moment I saw you til the day you died.
