On the morning of July 28, 2000 I recieved some bad news that i wished was not true. My boyfriend came to me and said," His mom was in a car accident and soon after, pronounced dead." Then and there, I broke into tears, for this bad news, I did not expect to hear. I held on to my boyfriend as tight as I could, Letting him no that I loved him so. I said to him, "She knows you loved her, she knows you cared, Now she will always be watching over you, She will always be there." She was a wonderful woman that everyone loved, heaven sent, an Angel from above. She took me in as if I were her own, She gave me love and shelter, a second home. Now she is an Angel, watching us from above, making sure that we are all well taken care of. "In Loving memory of my boyfriends Mother"
Reason for writing:
The reason I wrote this poem, is because it is a true stroy that recently happened. I have been with my boyfriend for a year and 10 months. His family took me as there own. They did so much for me. Expecially his mom. She was like a second mom to me and i loved her very much. I could not beleive when they told me she had died. I just thought i would write a poem about my experience.
