Slowly our lips met, Their touch an electricity That stopped my heart mid beat. Fighting against the force That made my legs crumble, I leaned into you As our souls met in free fall. Had I watched your face I could have seen straight Through your disguise. As we kissed My eyes were shut so tightly I was blind.
Reason for writing:
The feeling of regret and almost stupidity at not being able to see the flaws in a relationship, and carrying on regardless. Very bitter, this little poem. Comments and constructive criticism very welcome! P.S. I wasn't going to post on here any mroe because of all the arguing, but seeing as it has stopped I thought I would because I actually quite like this site. Everyone should get over all the angst! Save that for the real world.... :)
