Oh, my girl, eyes of lucent pearl Betrothed to my best friend To find you, I scoured this decadent world And yet now I am forced to pretend That when you draw near, my heart is still And I can show no rage, though I know he lies If he hasn't betrayed you yet, he will For he could never know the beauty in those eyes You are so close, yet like some distant star Now, I have learnt not all cages have bars Last night, I yearned to see you again As I traversed the garland forest, alone For long, I have been your protector from pain And your vigil as you wander home Through the sylvan maze, I quietly crept Though the path you took, I did not know Yet,you shone through the osiers and rivulets As if you emanated a supernal glow Beneath the moon, stood by that silver stream You appeared like a seraph in a prophet's dream I am lost in the labyrinth of your charms Yet tormented by their sweet delight For I can never hold you in my arms Or stare into those eyes, that shine at night To betray my friend, however wrong his heart And then to twist the arrow, through your own deceit Would be too cruel an act,so we must live apart And you can never know the secret that I keep I will withold the truth in every silent sigh For this must be my fate, until I die.Birth sign: Aquarius
