So many emotions up in the air Wounds so deep our hearts did tear Open, exposed so very raw We were stripped right to the core. So tired, so weak no control Wanting to dig our selves a hole Lost floating in the mist No strength to even clench our fist. On that Sunday morning We found another special friend And from the words you spoke our wounds began to mend. We’d say you were our surgeon With a needle and some thread As you began to sew The mist moved from our heads. On this day we realised that you do really care And we thank you very, very much Just for being there.
Reason for writing:
This Poem was to say thanks to another person who has helped me through some pretty rough times, someone I have learned a lot off,and I do hope I can continue to learn more. Thanks Brian.
