Cheat

by Phil Yarborough - Aquarius

Cheat

I broke into your house last night
Smashed your front window with a L.B.C brick.
Your alarm didn't even sense me
I was that stealth.

I thought I'd show the world what you really are
Underneath your tasteful looking icing.

The first room I crept in
Was your parent's.
Their room was so warm.
I put them in my pocket
They said they don't know who you are
They said you're not one of theirs.

I crept into your sister's room
She was weeping in here sleep
Calling out your real name.
Now I can see the plot thickens.

So your parents say you've changed,
Your sister's so upset, she cries herself to sleep
Calling you under the sun
Calling you, but you don't burn
I put her in my pocket.

So then I crept into your room.
It was oh so cold,
Just like the mouth all your lies come from,
And that is when I began.
First I opened your wardrobe,
Took out your designer clothes,
And replaced them with your Grandma's grotty frocks.
Next, I painted your walls,
Shades of grey and green and orange.
Oh that looked so good.
I used your mobile phone by the way,
I hope you don't mind,
I texted all your friends
Telling them you hate them all.
I noticed you slept wearing a facemask, on both facies,
Once I had taken that off,
I removed your implants.
Lets see how big you are now.
Your hair needed a trim,
But only on the left side.
My antics went on well into
The early morning hours.

You see...
Your family is falling apart around you,
And you're the one making the cracks.
The world, you had them fooled,
But you didn't quite cover your tracks
And I'm only warming up,
I've plenty more room in my pockets.

Reason for writing:

I thought I would write something about the way we are told that we are striving to achive peace, when we are only after power and possesion.
