Something in the air
Told me it be better to stay where I am;
rooted like an ancient tree...
You smothered me from breathing
I feel the world tumbling down
upon our havocked embrace
So you let me fall alone
I grasp but nothing's there to hold
as the ruin of our farce romance
crumbles to dust and decays before our very eyes
So intimidate me further
Push me off the edge
Make me feel like something unworthy
As the air grows thick around me
And chokes my aura of forgetting the past;
A smothering embrace of the utmost impurity.
