I’m bracing myself for impact as we fall. Velocity is no issue with you and as much as I need the scream of release, I’m too terrified to let go. "Pathetic dependency" you’d most likely say to me, and you’d probably be right. You always are right. All present and correct – that’s you. That’s well and good, but by God you give me a thrill. Mad bad, we fight, we hate, and each time I’m kicked in the shins I’ll laugh at your passion. Of course there’s no point to US, we’re nothing. It’s the power you lust over, not me. But undeterred, I merely smile, and hang on for grim death. “Crazy girl” you say. The epithet will stick, and only you could say it with that venom. But at least I provoke an emotion. Thank God you remember how to feel.

Hmmm.... a bitter little poem, this one. Just random thoughts, questions, etc. I think it shows my disappointment with certain aspects of my life. Comments very welcome as long as they are constructive... :)Em x
