Why can’t I deny my love of you Just rip out the part of me of which you are connected And throw it out as if it were a piece of homework assignment That is of no use anymore And yet your heart is intertwined with mine Your soul, is of mine Your every part so fastened with mine You are me I am you I am in love With the one thing that I cannot have With the one person who is in love with someone else Why can’t I just walk away from it all? Forget that our love had once existed In a world which I cannot ever begin to explain It had seemed like a fairytale come true As though I had found my one true prince charming And was blessed with living a life that I could not imagine You fed me happiness Opened up all hope Gave me the key to unlock everything that I had kept inside Why can’t I forget about you? As if you were only a dream That when I awaken All memory just flourishes in close to 5 seconds.
