I bet you dont know how it feels, To exist in black in white. And when a color fits perfectly, It still doesnt feel right. I bet you dont know how it feels, To look at the 12 inch tv screen. And think it is a fairy tale Just to have that kind of a perfect family. I bet you dont know how it feels, To be shut out from the world. To be shut out from a possible mom or dad Because you are a girl. I bet you dont know how it feels, To get made fun of everyday. Because you dont know where you came from And you dont know if you will stay. I bet you dont know how it feels, To be so excited that first night. And instantly, wish so badly You could fade back to black and white.
