Set Sailing

by FireFly - Libra

The trees tremble in the silence-
Vibrancies felt in the night-
It was from angles that fly above each-
To watch for our safety keepings-

Moonlight hangs as ambience-
If the tears fall from the cheeks-
The floating creatures above-
Lurch in empathy to your pain-

I have been following you-
I have been following you-
You have been two-
One with me, and one with another-

All that is said and done-
By each man-
In each alleyway, on the streets-
On the fields-
Some lost souls, with no homes-
Sap they’re strength-
To believe what might have been-

The angels are not creatures from god-
The angels are reflections, of all that is pure-
If in the most sane pain taints the soul-
Aching muscles, sleepless nights-
In the cool-col-bolt grey sky-
Sails from the wings of an angel-
Gently caresses the broken hearted-
Or disenchanted-
Away-

It is thru kindness-
Pure love, seen not thru blindness-
And with my days left-
I will not cry for you-
Each day I set sail-
My heart will find peace-
And know it, with out you-

The elevation-
You’re feeling-
The frustration-
You’re breathing-
The confusion-
You’re eating-
Gonna slam you down-
Gonna slam you down-

I have been following you-
I have been following you-
You have been two-
One with me, and one with another-
