Painted Faces

by Anthony M. Takach - Aquarius

You were there when they stalked me. You...happened to
stumble upon their nest of life and the tragedy is this...
is this, is this...
Im so scared darling, I cannot turn my head! My fears
are racing inside and all I see is visions of painted
heads...painted faces...painted faces...yeah, painted faces!
I feel better now then before. I can listen to the lord in
my heart. His voice speaks softly, and I love him, this anger is tempting, I feel like spitting...
Im so scared, I cannot turn my head. My fears are racing
inside and all I see is visions of painted heads...painted
faces...painted faces...yeah...
Is there a sun? I cannot quite see, or make out...the sky
is too dark. Looming overhead, I feel you, I love you, I
kiss you, I know you!!!!!!
I kicked away the vision and crumpled it down into a gash
of wood, burned it inside the walls of my heated fireplace.
I kicked away the fears, the life, the tears...I know, I show, I now glow...those painted faces are now gone...

Reason for writing:

Who here was ever scared of clowns when they were little?
