after

by heather - Taurus

i wonder should i be ashamed,
even as i gaze adoringly
into your face - body weary,
mind spinning;
nerves aching for the Irreplaceable.
  i cannot shame you now.
but i would. willingly i would
succumb once again,
to be One
with your thighs-eyes-knees-toes
Mind-body-Spirit -
all consuming
fever of Desire.
i would watch your body
break with mind; melt
tendon-to-tendon,
pore-to-pore.
but instead i must surrender
to the After,
the marked,
the Irretrievable.

Reason for writing:

: ) my love, and the dissapointments of commitment
