My Creed

by Celina - Pisces

My Creed

I have one life in which to live. Upon it depends heaven gained or heaven lost, when I have reached the end I must be sure to put away good works for God to view. Nor spend my life in vain pursuit as men are won't to do. I must get rid of foolish pride which plagus me night and day. Bite my tongue before someone is hurt by words, I say, never grow too fond of all. The glitter that I see, be content with only what, the lord has given me. I have one life in which to live. And only chance because I won't be coming back. My duty to my fellow man. Demands that I must be the understanding friend to him. That God has been to me. Everyday I must obsevre, as if is my last, and set my house in order before the time has passed. So down the road of years I live, My solitary creed... Safe in my love for Jesus... Who gives me all I need.
