Fear Loving You

by FireFly - Libra

I don’t want to fear loving you-
I don’t want to feel 2nd best-
You’re a scorecard keeper-
Telling me which lover is ahead-

Feeling the contours-
Sensitivity searching for something-
The shape was once defined-
She stopped, twirled, and like a dance-
Let go-

Found the cause for her own rhythm-
Shed her skin and became fearless-
What sexual healing she found each night-
Gave her two more steps-
In any direction-
Burgeoning a divide-
That our bridge could never provide-

Let go, kill the beast that rages-
Answering you in graphic details-
Our sanctuary was always filled with thorns-
No longer, will you touch her sorrow-
And the reasons you went raging bull-
In the subconscious, if you pushed-
There would be no reason for her-
Not to let go?-

I don’t want to fear loving you-
