Broken

Things done before,
 don't want to remember any more.
Things of the past,
 forgotten at last.
One word is spoken,
 the seal was broken.
Judged by a cover,
 striked against for something over.
Choices turned to mistakes,
 choices chosen to make.
Things of the past,
 should stay there at last.
Choices made now,
 seem hopeless somehow.
For something remembered,
 will always be encountered.
Obstacles through and through,
 only challenge a few.
What of this?
 Lies only in the thoughts of his.
Forgotten, yet not forgiven,
 Past should not be lived in.
The past,
 is the past at last.
Until the one word spoken,
 once again the seal has been broken.
