Five days a week 52 weeks a year Millions of teenagers put aside their fear They all take a huge leap And become just another sheep The in crowd rule the school And the geek is made to look like a fool Everyone walks around scared of rejection While hiding every silly imperfection It is supposedly hip to be a bimbo Being so skinny they could easily do the limbo Boys and girls locking lips While wearing their uniforms on their hips the beautiful people sit behind the sheds so that girls can give guys heads no one listens in classes while they forge out passes School is a boring place full of the same masked face the face of insecurity and false pretense It is their own fault they built the fence A fence that will keep them trapped all of their school days Until they find out popularity is only a school phase
Reason for writing:
my observations on how people act to become 'hip'
