“Our meeting” Why did we have to meet? When my life was so complete. In my time of happiness and joy. Creating feelings and thoughts, To enter my body and soul. Granting me emotions Which I could have lived without. Making my heart ache and my eyes turn red. Giving anguish to my soul to create sense of loss. But determined to acquire understanding to these thoughts. Demanding impressions to receive continually hardship, In your ways and forms. Then one day… Unexpectatively… You opened up to me, Reaching into to my body and soul. To see the sense of love and desire for one another. Speaking to each our desires, needs and goals. Exchanging heavenly moments upon this earth. Communicating as one, Loving and giving only to want more. Distance separating our goals. Therefore, I ask: Why did we have to meet? Why did you have to hold me close to you? Within your arms, And speak sweet words into my ear? Why did you show me your desires? That are as strong as mine? Why did you open my heart? To desires I never held before? Why did you promise eternal love and devotion? To create greater pain, agony, and hardship. Then why don’t you finally come to me? My hands wait… My arms are open… My heart is aching… My body trembles. My love waits… We as one, Hold within our arms the greatest joy, Cultivated from our life together. Joining families, To grow in strength. Exchanging blessing, To easing our travels. Facing hardships, Hand in hand Side by side Love with love Faith with faith Trust with trust Honesty with honesty.
