Thoughts in Transit

by FireFly - Libra

On this train-
Traveling on, thoughts in transit-
Each thought for each stop-
Each stop for each town-
Each town for each person-
This locomotion ventures-
Into you’re subterranean riddles-

Stuck in myself-
Reading moving words in the back-
Of my head-
I need to breathe-
I’m feeling-
The edges of the riddles inside me-

I’m tired; I’m going to escape-
Wish the advice you gave me-
Was some kind of flashlight-
I’d turn on-
Cause where I am now-
I’ve never gone before-
See, on this train-
What you didn’t miss-
Are details you miss the most-

I’m tired-

You can’t fight or find these words every day-
You know-
You suffocate, if you do-
So close to the truth-
Sometimes they end up owning you-

I’m panicking-

And the tunnel is coming-
Thoughts gone in a brown out-
Give me a concussion-
Or amnesia-
Sometimes, even for a minute-
It feels good-
Loosing yourself-
Just so you don’t have to be reminded-
Why you do what you do-

I’m resting-

The stories-
Travel to the end of each page-
Remember the words you felt-
Are written forever-
Even when you’ve stepped off this train-

I’m (e)motionless-
