Once Known

by Phil Yarborough - Aquarius

Been past this river a thousand times
The water in it changes before me
I can see the floatings on the surface
Grow but never soften
The colours always changing shades of green
And the waters slowly drowning
in a sea of thick green cotton which won't sink upon the surface

This skies been past me a million times
Bringing clouds of different shapes everytime
When The blue starts to out weigh the white
That's just the way I like it
That's just the way I like it, when I'm
Sitting high up in the clouds, seated in my
nice dry water leaved throne
this is my second home, my second home once known

You act like a jack,
but your just the joker
longing for the crown
let's just hope you'll never get your
evil little hands on our town's, most prize possesion.
here's a test, act without aggession
I think you need help
but I wont help the likes of you anymore
so leave my crown, and there's the door
no help with the disgust you have shown
you're a once known

Looked down upon this world only once
It was known to me
as a green pice of simplicity
living proof that you don't need those
picturs of the Queen to get the best
Take my hand, but leave me some
two fingers would do fine
Can't look down now, my bird has flown
once known
once known
once known to me as the blue bird of happiness
I still have my throne

When push comes to shuv you shuv the cat, right out the bag,
and never think of where you've seen all this before, you
Just don't realise how you sink us, with your "I know best" attitude,
so don't jump before you look, or I might end up pushing you out of
that saddle on your horse so high, have no dout what I'm about
