we lost today

by Antwan Fields - Aries

i look at my friends and they are crying
cause over in the middle east
our soldiers were killed unmercifully by terrorists
and nothing there was we could do
death came to our military
the government doesn't care
that 17 of the nation's best lost their lives to serve their country
to save the right to free speech
never again will i take our armed forces for granted
ive done enough already
imagine how our world would be
if there was no first amendment
and they died
heroically and unmercifully
and our nation doesn't care
its a warm day in chicago
but a bad day for me
and humanity and the u.s suffered a blow from evil
because i looked at my r.o.t.c friend and he did say
the us, canada, all the world
we lost today

Reason for writing:

for the 17 men killed in the middle east yesterday
they lost because of cowardly assholes who used bullets and bombs
insted of what they should have used-words
