I knew the day would come for us to say goodbye
I thought the day would never come when I would finally cry
I showed you no emotion for my own benefit and to save you from going through the pain
The pain of one of us leaving and having someone point the finger for the blame
I'll take all the hurt and sadness so you may live a happy life without me
I couldn't bare the thought of you not being able to live your life free
I will live the rest of my life with our lost love inside of my heart
I told you that your love would never leave me, even when we are apart
