Tears from a heart that is hurting, never reach the ground Brushed away like a forgotten past no longer to be found Within each tear, a memory of a life that once was shared trapped inside...nowhere to go, no pain can be compared With each new memory, it seems the tears would fall the less but new ones won't replace the old, they just add to instead The same two tears out of our eyes will almost never fall just like each separate memory we so often may recall Just as each memory has it's own distinct and separate place, no teardrops are the same as they are streaming down my face We can't add to or take away from memories of the past but holding them gently in our hearts will make them always last
