Coldness found or waiting for light

by Jason Deam - Libra

Why are you cold?
You were so warm, so kind,
You were better by at least ten fold,
But, you don’t seem to mind,

I never see the light in your eyes,
I don’t see the happiness there once was,
And all I hear from you are uncaring good-byes,
All without just cause.

I will wait for you in the dank corner,
For you to return,
All the time taking the spot of the mourner,
Waiting for you light to burn,

I will sit in this spot forever,
Or until I’m strong enough to severe,
