Loosing a Friend

by FireFly - Libra

Loosing the friend-
It wasn’t easy to deal with-
The hands that can soothe the shame-
Removes the soft splotches of stains-
So the heart that’s hard-
Once again feels the softness-

Friend, I lost your hands in the crowd-
You tried not to step on toes-
Your lies broadcasted on the radio-
I still know who you are-
Brightness in my life-
Like a shooting star-

You revealed in those nights-
The fireworks that light you up-
I saw laughter thru your eyes-
I saw anger thru your hurt-
I felt the world thru your fingertips-
I know who you are-
Even though you stumble in your life-
When you can’t find the prize-
Loosing a friend-
I don’t want too-
It’s a death-
Just a smaller part of me-
Is still alive-
