So many times the events in life, often get us down
As we stand before the impossible, afraid that we may drown
It is easy to look back my friend, but there will be a better day
As I've come to the realization, that He will always make a way
The pathway is so dark at times and we are blinded in our sight
As we stumble through the valley, saying what we know is right
The words at times seem empty, yet we know just what to say
As at times we lose our focus, but He will always make a way
It's when we lose our focus, that He carries us in His arms
Surrounded by His mighty love to shield us from life's harm
If I could, I'd take your pain away but I know not what to say
Just take comfort in His arms my friend, for He will make a way
I've seen Jesus pick you up my friend for all of us to see
And take us to His throne as we were humbled to our knee
Look around my friend as He carries you towards a better day
Let His loving arms surround you for He will always make a way
