Mangled Sense of Happy Pain

by Heather Williams - Libra

I am dying to believe
That maybe there's a reason
I saw a star fall from the sky
And hoped it was my angel
You only get one change
To breathe the air of today
Last night I caught your breath on the wind
And I looked at you
And God forbid I wished you were somebody else
This mangles mass of words hass meaning
But they do not make sense
I miss this pain when I am happy

Reason for writing:

I have a battle with manic depression. This was in one of the moments where I was changing, in a kind of limbo, between content and sad.
