Can you see me, Can you tell that Im hurting, Can you help me believe again, Even though I speak not a word or show my total emotions. Can you tell that Im depressed, Can you tell that I fear this world, Can you see that Im aching inside, Even though I close my eyes and craddle all my pain inside. Can you hear it in the way I talk, Can you see it in the way I walk, Can you see it when you look into my eyes, Even though I show a happy smile and talk to everyone day to day. Can you see it, can you find it, Can you see its controlling my life, Even though I show no signs of hurting, Its there just waiting to burst. Can you see Im crying, Can you see im dying, Can you see my tears, Even though I hide it, or try to confide in it. Its in my soul just setting there breathing more life day after day.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem because I was going through a tough time with the love of my life, when we decided to go our separate ways,I wanted to die I wanted nothing but to hold him,but thing didn't happen that way.. my life fell to pieces..and thats when depression slowly creeped in.. but all is better,in the life of poetry. I just told my self that love will find me again.
