Beyond Me

by FireFly - Libra

It was an oil spill-
Nobody recovered-
The tar spoiled my intentions-
A source-
That fed fuel to all the ills-

I’m not a good man-
Didn’t what you to get hurt-
But I did it any way-

A toast to my homage-
Plastic love, to hide-
My lost courage-

I’m the mouse in the house-
Where has my infamy gone-
Lost to the-
The mistakes I’ve done?-

You know as I slipped-
You moved out of the way-
So you could easily say-
It was I-
Who hit or miss-

Hit or miss-
I fled to the cave-
Painted the catastrophe-
The voices drowned out-
I want my own peace-
Rage is to easy-
In this world we live in-

I’m not drowning-
I won’t be around to see-
You're love beyond-
Me-
