I've just been sitting here
Watching the sun shine
Watching the snow fall

I've just been sitting here
Staring at the clouds
Through whisps of blond straight hair

I've just been sitting here
Smiling because there is somebody out there
Smiling because my mother gave me life

I've just been sitting here
Feeling happy that I'm me
Feeling content for the first time in years
