Blank

by Elizabeth Lawson - Capricorn

I saw you laughing, by no means silent
can you see I have tears in my eyes,
I saw you act by no means violent,
Can you tell of whom it is I despise.

I'm needing a word, a single strand of speech,
to help me in ways that I need,
I seeing you so out of reach,
I'm wanting a person to lead.

I'm waiting around, for you to call,
so i can say truely that someone cares,
I'm seeking, wanting, needing to stand tall,
So I can ignore their faces, their glares.

I'll stay like so, wanting that word,
needing you to be my strength,
until then, I'll fly free, like a bird,
so don't always keep me at arms length.

Reason for writing:

i wrote this because I don't like the way I feel at the moment being shut out from the rest of the world. Feel free to comment, it would be greatly appreciated.
