It Was Just My Heart

by Phil Yarborough - Aquarius

It's all right,
It was just my heart,
A scratch, a scratch,
It was just my heart.

You was the best,
But your time has been,
And it has passed,
Like the feelings,
I once felt.

Too late,
It's been broken,
Like my stone wall,
Smashed to bits,
But now it's built stronger.

I'm fine,
Brown paper holds my joints in place,
You can't touch me,
I've been there before,
But now I have open eyes,
Loves blind,
But I can see clearly,
Seeing straight through you,
Seeing your true colors,
Matt black.
