~Why Can't You Be Here~ You left a few weeks ago It's not right, me having to let you go. Nothing is going to be the same I almost cry when some one says your name. You were my best friend forever Like sisters; we were always together. When I heard the news about you I was speechless; not knowing what to do. It wasn't supposed to happen like this Everything was supposed to be happy with bliss. We would talk for hours on end Always knowing that in each other we had a true friend. Girl, who can I talk to now Talk to someone else; I don't know how. I should have been there too It should have been me, not you. We were going to go to college together We were always going to be together, forever. You weren't supposed to get involved I was gunna work things out, get everything solved. Now because of me you can't be here; together, you and me. I was going to keep you safe But I ran outa time; now I can't see your face. I've got the memories; those aren't enough Being happy without you will surely be tough. I don't want to go on without you But I know that's not what you would want me to do. When someone asks, who is my best friend Your name still is said; for you were a true friend. I'll visit your grave And I'll have to be very brave. I'll be sad and upset But everytime I look at the clouds, I'll feel content. For I know friends always watch over each other Even if we're seperated, and not together. Reason for writing:
A few weeks ago my best friend was shot and killed. She got mixed up in somethings she wasn't supposed to. She was like a sister to me, I'll love her forever.
