Reason for writing:
A female acquaintance of mine is suffering, according to a psychologist friend, from Penis Fear, which is not the same as Penis Envy. I don't have the heart to tell her this directly, but have dropped occasional subtle hints. As with many phobias or problems, the best solution is often to face up to the problem, and tackle it directly. Apparently, a classic symptom is women dressing as men, to the extent where they never ever wear a dress, hence the poem, which while short and crude is direct and to the point. Sometimes, but not always, a little bit of what you think you don't fancy can do you a lot of good.
