Again in the distance The waves swallow the earth And pound curled fists on to the shore The sun glitters on this moving body of grace Seagulls hold their position, as the wind suspends them in air And yet my eyes search the horizon Into the infinite faith we call natures beauty Emotions move fluidly Though my heart holds love Its frailness cannot recover from such cruelty The face of nature’s beauty Its honesty and energy fierce and gentle Each wave leading to some far away distance Natures haunting way Reminding you, something important Is lost at sea And I a man Born from flesh and bone My arms can no longer reach to hold her And yet each day I wake from my slumber I can see her On each wave The face of nature’s beauty Moving farther away
Reason for writing:
