I can feel you behind me lurking in the shadows so close, yet out of reach I want to see you but you are just an apparition, like mist hovering over a valley at dusk I can feel your breath whispering over me It caresses like a soft, gentle breeze yet warms my blood like a match mated to flame I can hear your heartbeat, a wild tattoo that pounds in tune with my own; a mad race to an undefined end I wait, at the threshold into never land, for you to hold me and tell me that you understand my need The closer you get the more I feel consumed by flames There is no turning back Tell me that you want to feel my fire, need to feel my rain For it is there You have only to reach out and consume meBirth sign: Cancer
