THE BUSY STREET OF II-29

by Martin Philip Alcantara - Taurus

THE BUSY STREET OF II-29

Anyone will easily find this street
for this is a place of planes and fleets
The armies of Rome has no match with this
nor the tactical head of the majestic Greece

All heads turning
every eye rolling
If work is what thou look to fit,
Oh we welcome thee to our busy street.

Let our names be heard by every corner.
By high and low, by whosoever.
If you want a fight, we'll give you one.
And you'll go home with want and none.

How can we say? How can we mean?
We say this by the strong and lean.
For who knows that from this busy street
will come a future that's so sweet.

Don't ever underestimate our street or us.
Nor dare to look on us so low.
For someday, you all will see.
We, maybe, are what the future holds for thee
