Why? Maybe I'm lazy. Maybe I'm tired. Maybe I want you angry. So I can stop loving you. A little bit more. Each time. Ruthless genes, enacting their will? But then we go out In the cool fresh night to the place with the people and noise and laughter and food. And as we walk to the light you look up at me now with those adoring eyes so I can fall in love again, once more.
