Though Every Harbor

by Martin Philip Alcantara - Taurus

THOUGH EVERY HARBOR

Give me the strength
to face the thing that I ought.
For in times of the strong see
you are my only sought.

Though every harbor rejects my ship
Though the lighthouses has no lights to give
Help me pass the storm, Dear Lord.
Be my ships captain, please climb aboard

Though all the people reject my plea.
Though all my friends have no need of me
Though every storm is everywhere
I will not fear, My Captain is near.

Reason for writing:

Thsi poem was written during the times when it seems that there's nobody else I can hold on to. I felt so alone that day, I'm so tired and weary. But God reminded me once again that He will never leave me nor forsake me
