Bed Sheets

by Heather Williams - Libra

I pretend at night
That you are my bed sheets
I wrap myself up in you
I can hold you in my arms
Bury my face into you
So I can pretend that you still wipe away my tears
Sometimes I pretend a little too much
And I start to talk to you
And my heart sinks because I really thought
For just a moment
That you were really there with me
