Jason Delph

by FireFly - Libra

What is easier-
People who seem to care-
Or writing fucked up shit-
On display-
Give it a name-

All poetry is a line thrown into the sea-
Someone who’s drowning will use it-
As a life preserver, some bodies been there too-

Your poetry Jason is raw-
Not tenderized-
Never not to the point-
I understand, got those feelings too-

This web page-
It’s a lifeline for everyone-
Whether an ailment to heart or mind-
It’s a white flag, your surrendering yourself-
Everybody sees you, and hears you-
Cause the truth is in the words-
The feeling behind those words-
Is you-

It’s the daily news-
Romance, broken promises, loves left the building-
The war-torn memories, abuse, triumph-
The inner circle of hearts and minds-
On the sleeve, its there for you to read-

The stench of bullshit is all around-
Plastic tits and plastic smiles-
But you’re words-
Will always pull you thru-

But I'm getting to serious now
So remember that line from Pulp Fiction, Havrvey Kietel says
"Ok, lets not start sucking each others dicks."

I'll leave it at that.
