EVERYONE'S ANGEL

She was everyone’s angel
Everything that everyone wished they could be
She was beautiful
Blonde
Blue-eyed
Thin and stood straight and tall
She had the greatest smile
Never showed a frown
Never looked tired
Never put anyone down
She never asked for anything
Instead she gave 
Never wanted to be paid back
When she gave you money, you kept it
She never fought back unless it was something that she believed in
She worked harder than anyone
Got two raises in just 6 months
She never showed defeat
Never let anyone see her fear
Never told anyone her deep dark secrets
Never showed anyone she was imperfect
They wouldn’t have accepted her
Never let her grades fall
Always was on top of it all
That girl in the mirror
I do not understand
She was everything everyone wanted her to be
Now she’s scarred
And the scar cannot be erased
