You had gently laughing fingers And timid kisses That traveled up and down my thighs At night Most nights You were the angel who's hot breath Sang me to sleep when I was unable to fall Now Without you I listen to the rain And remember How it fell through your hair so quickly That I couldn't wipe it from your eyes AS you kissed me Quickly goodbye No more Will I have your lingering kisses Or feel your whispers Against my back You have left me empty Certain For eternity I will lack
