Do you look beyond what they say, Or do you look straight into me? Is it possible? You are looking the other way! How can you not see what I see? I see the negativity slowly take over you. You believe them all, and have denied me! One thing I thought you would never do! Look past my love, and fail to see what I see. I see their envy eating you with hunger! They try to bring us down, but I can't let them take this away. But YOU, you still feed them, and it makes them stronger! How can you believe those ludicrous words they say? They eat away at the seed which we have worked so hard for. They try so hard to smash our shield, only for their needs. They can try, try to feed off our inner core, But the love I found in you, will never give into their greed! So, see what you want to see and forever loose this bond. If you can't trust me, you have allowed them to devour our love. You must think now, think fast, before forever is gone! Don't let them be, don't let them win, don't allow them to climb above...
Reason for writing:
This poem is about being in love with someone, and that someone giving into the greedy, envious people that try to destroy our sacred bond. He slowly gives in, and I slowly walk away from him, for if he does not trust me, our love cannot grow.
