That Girl In The Morning Part IV

by Heather Williams - Libra

I heard a voice from behind the pillar
I clasped my hands together
And looked up and prayed that it was yours
Three more steps and my prayer was answered
You were wearing beautiful black velvet
Sitting there laughing and playing a game
About drunks on your calculator
I watched your dancing eyes sparkle
I was nudged by an elbow
Reminding me to talk to my future prom date
I don't remember the nudge
I was lost in a dream about us...
We talked about music in the hallways
And really bad Christmas presents
And how you don't have a prom date
And how you have always had a cool class first period
And then we parted
I looked for you all day long
My obsession for you runs deep

Reason for writing:

:) I hope she likes girls.
