His touches linger on my waist I admit his lips I long to taste. I know your feelings for him are thought as real But doesn't it matter how I feel? He was your crush for quite awhile. But the things he does make me smile. I want him to hold me in his arms And when he does I feel so warm. If the thought of him and me hurts you much Then I'll back away from his touch. I won't let him hold me or kiss my lips, Although his affection's at my finger tips. A friend's more important than a guy But I hope I'm not letting something special slip by. And to the man who might not be, I hope you'll understand and forgive me.
