Fool's Gold

by FireFly - Libra

Little by little-
All of it ‘round your finger tips-
They mimic your movements-
From each lick, each stare, each smile-
Long drawn out pregnant pauses-
Cause you didn’t say a word?
These people revolve around you-

I’m sorry that’s absurd-

Swung into your orbit-
Stares flash all over-
Integrity never in question-
Inquisitive, not one of them-
Just jesters juggling you along-

Just juggling you-

If kindness on red carpets-
Shaking purchased hands-
Is what you wanna do-
What comes of it-
Fool’s gold in an absurd disparity-
Just juggling you along-
