We danced the world away, and when we finished we were alone, and the world and all it's pleasures and pains had become ours. We looked up from the tiny world held between our hands and fixed our gaze at each other's eyes. Slowly we melted in each other's eyes, and you faded slowly away If I could peer into your soul what would i see? Would the bright star in your heart reach out towards me? Would there be a vast forest of life where i could become immersed? We jumped into the empty pool and the water gushed in to soften our fall. Similarly the fool jumped from the plane, but the wings that tried to catch him could not stand his weight, and so two souls died that night. For some reason each time we look for happiness it jumps out at us, but it also slithers away soon after we find it, and as we grasp for it and plead for it to stay it slips through our fingers like sand down the hourglass.
