I miss the naivety The innocence of my childhood But no Innocence is unattainable Oh to go back Turn the timetables, return to yesterday But no The same would follow History repeats itself Such a sweet dream lost A yearning For something not meant to be The laughter of my youth I strive to forget yesterday's pain I will it to some dark, repressed recess No knowledge No remembrance Oh to go forth Soar into tomorrow Wallow in the luxury of my self worth But no Stripped bare Flayed to my inner most awareness The thought that in some cases ignorance is bliss But no Knowing is half the battle won~Birth sign: Cancer
